Magical Realism: A New Art Form
This workshop will focus on applying the principles and techniques of magical realism to your own writing. You will read from the great magical realists, including Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Carlos Fuentes, and Toni Morrison. All participants will write a magical realist short story to be submitted to the creative writing contest of their choice.
