Introduction to Yoga - A Beginning Practice
This course will include instruction and review of fundamental asana. Each class will include asana (posture) practice and deep relaxation. All will benefit from this class. This general overview will also examine asana practice as it relates to posture, balance, flexibility, strength, skeletal and muscular integrity, health benefits, relieving tension, and the restorative qualities of yoga asana.

American Sign Language
Fast fact: Did you know that 90% of all people who are deaf are born to hearing parents? This will be a class that is designed to educate the participant about people who are deaf, their culture, and sign language. Learn different bookbinding techniques including stab, accordion folds, and long stitch bindings. This course will combine technique and discussion as well as ways to encourage community through simple methods of mass production. Participants will watch several contemporary and several classic films and then read and discuss various movie reviews of those films. Appreciating the Short Story
This six-hour workshop is designed for readers and aspiring writers who wish to learn more about the short story as an art form. Participants will read and discuss short stories by both contemporary and classic short story writers to gain insight into how short stories work. Participants will also be given an opportunity to share their own creative work.
