NAPNES Pharmacology Certification for LPN's
This course is intended for LPNs who are familiar with the nursing process and who desire to become more knowledgeable about pharmacology. Topics covered include: general principles in pharmacology, pharmacology and the role of the LPN, drug therapy affecting the nervous system and special senses, drug therapy affecting kidney and body fluid composition, drug therapy affecting the cardiovascular system, drug therapy in infection, drug therapy in cancer, drug therapy affecting the gastrointestinal system and nutrition, drug therapy affecting respiratory function, drug therapy affecting endocrine and reproductive function, and drug therapy affecting skin.
