Learn how to certify and document the performance of twisted pair and optical fiber cable plants. Learn how to troubleshoot them if they don't perform as expected. As technology advances, your installation and troubleshooting skills must keep pace so you can keep up with the ever-increasing demands of your customers. Today's buyers of LAN systems are becoming more and more sophisticated. They often ask for documentation that states just how their LAN cable plant will perform. Develop the critical skills and methods needed to maximize efficiency when certifying and troubleshooting LAN cabling systems. The standards studied in the course include ANSI/TIA/EIA-568, ANSI/EIA/TIA-526-14A, and ANSI/TIA/EIA-526-7. Successful completion of the course examination will designate you as an AMP registered certifier and troubleshooter and provide you with 14 BICSI continuing education credits (CECs).
