Green Advantage Commercial Training
Green Advantage is an environmental certification for building-related practioners-primarily contractors, subcontractors, and trades people. Certified individuals have successfully passed the Green Advantage Certification Exam demonstrating knowledge of current green building principles, materials, and techniques. Commercial, Residential, and Commercial/Residential Certifications are available, with a specific exam required for each. Because the green building field is rapidly changing, candidates must pass a Re-certification Exam every three years in order to remain Green Advantage Cerfified. Goals of the course: 1) To be able to think independently about the applications of sustainable concepts in the design and construction process; 2) Be able to evaluate various green building products, processes and technologies in the context of environmental, cost, logistical and functional criteria; 3) Be able to successfully complete the Green Advantage certification. NOTE: PA RESIDENTS MUST PROVIDE THEIR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER IN ORDER TO RECEIVE SPECIAL RATE OF $125 (SECTION 01). ALL NON-PA RESIDENTS AND PERSONS NOT WANTING TO PROVIDE THEIR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER WILL PAY THE RATE OF $475 (SECTION 02).
