Home Energy Auditing
Against a backdrop of degree day theory, concepts behind calculating by measure, saving payback's, building science, infiltration theory, approved retrofit lists and codes the participants will learn home energy auditing techniques and apply them in lab exercises. Techniques include blower door guided air leakage tests, heat systems testing and analysis, material estimation, measuring and working with a field data collection form. PA WEATHERIZATION SUBGRANTEES AND THEIR CONTRACTORS ARE ADMITTED AT NO CHARGE. (SELECT "OTHER" UNDER PAYMENT OPTIONS).
Prerequisite(s): Diagnostic Approaches to Weatherization; Introduction to Heat Systems; Combustion Analysis and Retrofit Oil; Combustion Analysis and Retrofit Gas
